goText is a free software for mobile phone wich you can use to send SMS, MMS and email for free!!
You pay only a little amount due to the data transferred via GPRS, usually in the order of 1-2 cents, to worldwide mobile numbers!
The cost is so little because goText uses services from website offering free sms from web, handling the connection in special ways to reduce the data and cost as little as possible.
And if your mobile supports WiFi connection you can send messages 100% free!!
goText should work on all mobiles with Java support, as it is a MIDP 1.0 application.
The application it's currently translated in 5 languages (English, Italian, Spanish, Turkish and Indonesian) and our official website in 3 languages (English, Italian and Spanish).
The J2ME client and sms scripts are released under GPL v2 license, so if you are an advanced user you can modify everything and also get involved in development!
There are 2 versions ready for download here from Phoload. Download from Phoload is English only because we have a different build for each language (if you want to download it in other languages please take a look at the download page on our website):

- goText 2.3 (standard): the standard version, that is smaller in size
- goText 2.3 (non obfuscated build): if above version won't run on your phone, try this one. Has the same features as goText 2.3 standard, but is a little bigger because it's not obfuscated. Some mobile phones don't like obfuscation so you may have luck if the above one don't work.
- goText 2.3 (Lite): if your mobile phone only supports JAR size up to 64 Kb this version is for you. Has the same features as goText 2.3 standard, but lacks all images but one.

Short configuration how to:
- Configure your mobile phone connection for Java programs for Internet GPRS (not WAP GPRS!)
- Install goText
- Run it and go to Settings, put your own international Country Code and tweak other settings as you like
- Enter Services menu and add SMS service configurations (you can find their addresses on our services page, we suport both free SMS services and paid SMS services like Vyke or Betamax voip and sms services)
- Fill required login infos for any service you want to use
- Go to Message menu, select a service from the ones you have previously configured
- Write a text, select receipt number(s) from your mobile phonebook, and send
- Welcome to cheap sms messaging..happy goTexting!
