DictionaryForMIDs is an open source application and can be configured for many different languages. This dictionary is the English-German version based on the IDP (Internet Dictionary Project).

Features:

• There is no need for an internet connection, the dictionary is directly included in the JAR-file.
• Sophisticated search features that also allow users to find phrases and use of various wildcard characters, for example: * matches any series of characters and ? matches any single character
• Very short search time for translation thanks to elaborated index structures.
• Runs on every device that supports the MIDP (Mobile Information Device Profile) and has enough memory to host the dictionary. It also runs on PCs.
• Open source project and as such free software.
